The University states unequivocally that it demands research integrity from all of its members. Research misconduct, in whatever form, is ultimately destructive to the values of the University and society; furthermore, it is unfair and discouraging to those who conduct their research with integrity.
Any allegation of research misconduct will be processed in accordance with the Research Integrity Policy, which aligns with the principles and requirements of the Tri-Agency Framework: Responsible Conduct on Research. The term Tri-Agency refers to the funding agencies: Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR); Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC); and e Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
