McMaster University recognizes that undergraduate students periodically require relief for missed academic work due to extenuating circumstances. This Policy will support the management of these requests by reducing the requirement for documentation from a healthcare practitioner for short-term absences, while considering the needs and obligations of undergraduate students, instructors, and administrators.
